These Terms of Service govern your use of the Alectra Gas website and the purchase of LP gas cylinder exchange and delivery services. By placing an order with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

1. Our Services

Alectra Gas provides LP gas cylinder exchange and delivery services in and around Pretoria, South Africa. We supply the following cylinder sizes:

• 9 kg LP Gas Cylinder Exchange
• 19 kg LP Gas Cylinder Exchange
• 48 kg LP Gas Cylinder Exchange

All prices are listed on our website and are subject to change without prior notice. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time.

2. Cylinder Exchange Policy

Our service is a cylinder exchange: you hand over your empty or depleted cylinder in exchange for a full one of the same size. The empty cylinder must be a standard LP gas cylinder in a safe and serviceable condition. Cylinders that are damaged, corroded, or do not comply with South African safety regulations may be refused at our discretion.

Every cylinder we deliver is pressure-tested and inspected before dispatch to ensure it meets safety standards.

3. Orders & Payment

All orders are subject to availability. To place an order, contact us directly by phone or via our website. Payment is due at the time of delivery. We accept the following card payment methods:

• Mastercard
• Maestro
• Visa Electron

We do not accept cheques. Any alternative payment arrangements must be agreed in writing in advance.

4. Delivery

We offer same-day delivery on orders placed before our daily cut-off time. Delivery is available Monday to Sunday, 08:00–16:45. We deliver every day of the week except South African public holidays.

Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by factors outside our control, including traffic, weather, or high order volumes. Alectra Gas is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Delivery is currently available within the Pretoria area. If you are unsure whether we service your address, please contact us before placing your order.

5. Refunds & Cancellations

Because our service involves the exchange of a filled gas cylinder at the point of delivery, cancellations must be made before the delivery driver departs. Once a delivery is in progress, we are unable to accept cancellations.

If a cylinder you receive is found to be defective or incorrectly filled, please contact us immediately at 074 512 4065. We will arrange a replacement exchange at no additional charge. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis for verified product faults.

6. Safety & Customer Responsibility

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all gas appliances, regulators, and connections are correctly installed and maintained in accordance with applicable South African regulations and manufacturer guidelines. Alectra Gas is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from improper installation, storage, or use of gas cylinders.

Gas cylinders must be stored upright, in a well-ventilated area, and away from heat sources and open flames. Keep cylinders out of reach of children.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and branding, is the property of Alectra Gas and is protected under applicable South African law. No content may be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written consent from Alectra Gas.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
